1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains our policy regarding refunds for credit purchases made on the Global API Gateway platform. By purchasing credits, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Credit-Based System
Our Service operates on a credit-based payment model:
- Credits are purchased in packages (e.g., $30 for 1,000 credits, $50 for 2,000 credits, $100 for 5,000 credits)
- Credits are immediately added to your account upon successful payment
- Credits do not expire and can be used at any time
- Each API request consumes credits based on the API type
3. General Refund Policy
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except in the circumstances described below.
This policy applies because:
- Credits are digital goods that are immediately available upon purchase
- Credits can be used immediately after purchase
- We cannot verify whether credits have been used after purchase
4. Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:
4.1 Duplicate Payment
If you are charged twice for the same transaction due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge. Please contact us within 30 days of the transaction with proof of the duplicate charge.
4.2 Unauthorized Transaction
If your payment method was used without your authorization, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and may issue a refund if the transaction is confirmed to be fraudulent.
4.3 Service Unavailability
If our Service is unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 consecutive hours) due to our technical issues, and you have unused credits, we may consider a partial refund or credit extension. This will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
4.4 Billing Error
If you were charged an incorrect amount due to our error, we will refund the difference or the entire amount if appropriate.
5. Non-Refundable Scenarios
The following situations are not eligible for refunds:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Unused credits (credits do not expire and can be used at any time)
- Dissatisfaction with API results or data quality
- API rate limits or temporary service restrictions
- Account suspension or termination due to Terms of Service violations
- Credits consumed through normal API usage
- Technical issues on your end (network problems, integration errors, etc.)
- Misunderstanding of credit costs or API pricing
6. Refund Process
If you believe you are eligible for a refund:

- Provide the following information:
- Your account email address
- Transaction ID or receipt
- Date and amount of the purchase
- Reason for the refund request
- Any supporting documentation
- We will review your request within 5-7 business days
- If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10-14 business days
7. Refund Processing Time
If your refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method
- Processing time: 10-14 business days after approval
- Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to credit your account
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
8. Partial Refunds
In exceptional circumstances, we may offer partial refunds based on:
- Unused credits remaining in your account
- The specific circumstances of your case
- Our discretion and fair assessment
Partial refunds, if granted, will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
9. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or terminate your account
- Dispute the chargeback with supporting documentation
- Pursue collection of any amounts owed
We strongly encourage you to contact us first to resolve any payment issues before initiating a chargeback.
10. Credit Expiration and Transfer
Credits do not expire and cannot be transferred between accounts. If you wish to use credits on a different account, you must use them from the original account or contact us for assistance.
11. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through our Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
